Friends of City Gardens is a community group based in the City of London

We support the City Gardens team and our aim is to curate and enhance the biodiversity and landscaping within Bunhill Fields Burial Ground and the Square Mile.

Friends of City Gardens and corporate volunteers, together with City of London gardeners, have created a mosaic of habitats in Bunhill Fields for pollinators, other invertebrates, birds and bats. The Rewilding Project is supported by the Mayor of London, in partnership with the London Wildlife Trust.

Volunteer with us

Our volunteers meet at Bunhill Fields Burial Ground on Tuesday or Sunday mornings for a fun and friendly gardening session. You’ll also have the chance to join us for training sessions, open days and occasional field trips.
