Skanska volunteer session at Bunhill Fields 26 April 2016

In an exhausting full day session, a team of volunteers from Skanska, the construction company,  joined FoCG volunteers at Bunhill Fields to remove and replace old fencing and plant wild flowers and ferns. Volunteers planted foxgloves, cowslips, ajuga, native geraniums, pulmonaria, polypodium and asplenium in the FoCG woodland area.

After lunch the volunteers moved on to Fortune Park where they spread wood bark in the Prior Weston veg beds area and then added compost to the Fann Street community orchard planters and planted up new herbs.
