Lunchtime Fun and Games in Bunhill Fields 30 July 2014

Friends of City Gardens and the City’s gardens’ team organised a summer lunchtime event for families. Sack races, three-legged races and egg and spoon races culminated in a massive tug of war as Hahahopscotch ran children through their paces in Bunhill Fields.

We then expected a quiet sit down but Joel from the Barbican Library terrified us with dark tales of the tadpole and the caterpillar and got us singing along to the Wheels on the Bus.

After a snatched picnic it was more fun with Hahahopscotch’s Garden Gallivant – a light hearted look at garden history, which ended in yet another tug of war.
